The Comfort Book
by Matt Haig
Lol was I in too good of a head space to really get much from this book?!
That sounds awful doesn't it. I liked the longer stories the most. Stories about the author and his father getting lost in the woods. Stories about other authors (whose books have now been added to my TBR shelf).
But so much of the advice I felt I was already doing. So it's a good reminder, but not life changing for me. I have a gorgeous front porch that I sit on as much as I possibly can. I soak up the sunshine during the day and gaze at the stars at night.
I am at my best mentally as I feel I have ever been. So while The Comfort Book had some good stories and great reminders, it didn't alter my life in the way Man's Search for Meaning (a 5-star read for me) did when I read it.
