Edit:  I had to edit my review, because I originally rated this 4.75⭐️ but I have literally not stopped thinking about this book and my review since I finished it. I needed to make sure my review reflected that.

I think it’s safe to say that Ashley Poston is now an auto-buy author for me. I just adore how she writes her characters. Did I predict most of the stories twists and turns? Yes. But I still found this to be such a delight and so SO hard to put down.
There’s a little bit of the ‘there’s only one bed’ trope. There’s a lot of timey-whimey discourse due to Clementine’s magical apartment that at random times can transport you through time by 7 years. I can’t talk too much about the plot of the book without getting into spoiler territory, just know that I was hooked and so so intrigued to see how the story panned out. If you’re intrigued by the synopsis, you won’t be disappointed. I loved this so much, it’s hard to put into words.

If you enjoyed movies like About Time or the book/any of the adaptions of The Time Travellers Wife, I think this book would be up your alley. Also, if you enjoyed the Dead Romantics, you’ll be delighted to know this is set in the same universe (hello Benji Andor cameo and brief appearance of Florence as well)!!!

I genuinely wish I had a finished copy so I could see all of my annotations already because boy oh boy did I annotate my electronic copy so much lol
Catch me in line on release day trying to get a finished copy in my hands because I just ADORE this book so much.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the complimentary e-arc in exchange for an honest review. All opinions in this review are my own.
