I love this author and I think this is a really interesting exploration. It's more atmospheric than some of her other work, it reminded me a little bit of Neil Gaiman. It's short, almost a novella.
Jenna is a WV ghost living in NYC. She is "earning" her dying day by working at a suicide prevention hotline, saving lives when she can. She is trying to keep to herself, but events in NYC's ghostly community force her to act.
It seems to me that this is a self-contained story. I'm not sure if it's going to be a series—at least not with these characters.
