Beautiful Country by Qian Julie Wang

3.0

Wang’s memoir shares her experiences in NYC at a very young age… which gets me thinking about memories and then I think to myself, could I write a memoir that details my childhood life? I surely could write about a few events, but my memory certainly isn’t accurate. I appreciated hearing about her experiences as a child and trying to comprehend what was going on with the city around her, but I can’t say this book left a big impact on me.
