Short, Sweet, and gets to the point, basically Perfect :)
I've always loved Lisa Schroeder's books because they are in verse. She can evoke so much emotion in just a few words and I LOVE IT.
Far from You is great because it has a cute little romance in it (I <3 Blaze) but it's not the focus of the story. Alice has a lot to learn ever since her mom passed away and I loved the way she was taught. (I mean, there's nothing like getting stuck and lost in the snow with your step-mom and half-sister that can make you bond right?) haha. What an unfortunate way to learn a lesson but hey, at least she learned it.
Anyway, great book that everyone should read.
**Only con: since it is in verse it goes by way too fast. So if you check it out from a library, get more than one book ;) **
