Mehhh. Heard some good things about this series on a FB group and it just didn't do it for me. Not the right tone of MC book for me and the repetitive sex (hah don't usually hear me complaining but...yeah) with no purpose but for the sake of sex and constant repetition of thoughts and feelings about each other in the MCs thoughts got old REAL FAST.
Add in not caring about the overall plot once I got a grasp on what was going on, the odd structure of scenes & dialogue at times and last but not least the horrible h Anya....and I was not into it. Anya from what I figure was suppose to be this street toughened chick who had been around the block and at first I dug it. And then we saw how this chick went batshit OTT drama queen a handful of times which was extremely eye roll worthy and I was just beyond over her personality. Assume, overreact and run away. Get a new shtick.
I will try the second book just to see if the first wasn't just a first book flop for me but I don't have much hope for it.
