This book is such a treat! Briggs can write compelling short stories, and the Mercyverse has a lot of interesting characters. I did not finish "Silver" as it was boring me and I admit I didn't care much for what happened, but I loved "Fairy Gifts" and "Roses in Winter".
Silver - DNF
Fairy Gifts - 5/5
Gray - 5/5
Seeing Eye - 4/5
The Star of David - 4/5
Roses in Winter - 5/5
Redemption - 4.5/5
In Red, with Pearls - 4.5/5
Hollow - 4/5
The outtakes give a glimpse into the moments Mercy is out of the picture, but aren't needed in the novels. They don't advance the plot and I get it why they're out. This anthology made me want to know even more about Asil!
