The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

Rating: 5/5

Well that was a whirlwind of emotions and I loved every second of it. The book shows the glamour of Hollywood while also showing how fame can effect a person. There’s moments of happiness and also moments of anger and betrayal, it was a perfect balance of emotions.

Pros:
-the story was believable and memorable; every section about Evelyn’s new husbands were different and distinct while also revealing more about who Evelyn Hugo is as a person
-the romance in this was phenomenal (there were lots of messy relationships but I’m specifically talking about Evelyn’s quote on quote ‘forbidden romance’)
-the plot kept going the entire time and just when I expected the book to go a specific direction it went the complete opposite way

Cons:
-none, I’ve got nothing but compliments for this book!
