Everything Beautiful Is Not Ruined by Danielle Younge-Ullman

4.0

This book is so well-written that I could ignore parts where it dips into the cliched. Which also helps that the book touches upon a lot of heavy issues.

SpoilerIt's also so well-written that I enjoyed the book even though I somehow didn't care for the romantic plotlines. I get the initial stuff with Isaac, but what's the attraction after? I liked the Tavik one and saw that coming but also liked how realistic it was when he was like, "you know this won't continue after camp, let's not pretend." I had forgotten so much about Isaac being a thing that I though the book was going to end with that last letter to her mom and not a prologue.
