As a casual viewer of Parks & Rec who's only seen Parks & Rec in passing, I probably enjoyed this book more than diehard fans. He shared some good chunks of wisdom and he has a great voice, so I definitely recommend the audiobook. When he reads it, his sophisticated vocabulary combined with a heavy dose of vulgarity comes off as totally natural. The audiobook expired while I was on the second to last chapter, so I went to the library and sat in the aisle while I finished it. This was a perk for two reasons: I got to see the sprinkling of illustrations I didn't know I was missing PLUS I checked out the book he and his wife released earlier this year that was next to it on the shelf.
