I really liked the first two acts of this book, but the final third felt like it dragged too much and was manufactured conflict that ultimately didn't have believable stakes. I understand the attempt to help resolve some of the bigger, deeper issues that the characters had, but it didn't successfully do that in a way that I felt couldn't have been done without creating a drawn out conflict.
