At no point did I ever connect to a single character. They didn’t feel fully fleshed out and remained one dimensional the whole time. The plot was a good idea but didn’t seem to find its way to execute the idea. I keep seeing people say it’s Inception meets the Magicians and I can see the idea was there, but those expectations were never even close to being met.
