This book is hard to review because I did enjoy reading it, and there are parts of it that are hard to read (in a somewhat classic Steven King way). It’s hard to tell what is intentional and acting as a way to see the shortcomings/biases of the characters versus shortcomings of King himself. This book has lots of potential triggers so be gentle with yourself while reading it if you choose to do so.
