It’s a novella so I tried to ignore how fast paced it was or the things that made me cringe. But at this point he went all savage and it was too much for me. Just kinda ruined it for me.
The concept was good, and I really liked the opening about how shy she was to meet her orc neighbor. But it escalated WAY too quickly, making him seem like the brute humans claim he is. Then he’s all dramatic, don’t ever see me again! When he really meant just until spring 😒 like… okay.
