main character was insufferable, but I didn’t feel all that bad for his wife, who was also insufferable. She didn’t deserve a murder attempt by her husband, to be sure. So yeah he sucked more than she did. Still didn’t care all that much that she was alive and well. Trying to baby trap him to fix his childhood trauma was a wild move. the audiobook is really good though.
