Throughout this book I was thinking; “the dog better not die”, and of course the dog died. Wtf :(

——

All in all, this book wasn’t too boring but I didn’t love it. It was very repetitive.
They would run, Aaron would find them, they’d fight him and gravely injure him (seriously, why was Aaron indestructible) and run away again only for him/the Army to catch up to them again.

Along with this, the big reveal about Prentisstown’s past was a bit underwhelming, but I liked how since Todd doesn’t know how to read properly he spells some words wrong like “shun” instead of “tion”.

I will continue reading the series, hopefully it gets better.
