This is the first book in the Wings of Fire series, which just so happens to be my daughter's favorite series! She's been asking me to read it for a while, so when we had a girls' trip with lots of car time we decided to listen to the audiobook! She was even excited the second day that she didn't get on any devices, just colored while we listened! 🥰
The beginning, setting up the story, dragged a bit for me, but once we got into it I enjoyed it! There was suspense, perilous scenarios, adventure, and cliff hangers! It definitely is a good series for kids and fun for adults too. My daughter is 10, but has been enjoying this series for a few years. We will be continuing to listen as we make more trips together! ☺️
