Review from 2nd re-read: This book is a really nice soothing balm after the previous book as it just feels like a cosy Christmas story. All f the characters are wrestling with the events of the previous book, rebuilding, and working through their survivor's guilt but it still feels very snuggly and a bit like a warm hug.

Overall, I find this really fun to read and it is one of my favourite books in the series largely because we get to see the characters living their lives and being pretty close to happy.

Review and rating from first read: I found this quite a cosy read as our main characters prepare for the Winter Solstice celebration together. I enjoyed the exploration of the lasting affects of the events on ACOWAR and begin to heal and move forward. 4.5⭐
