Reading romance is what I do when I'm stressed. The vapidity and ridiculousness of the characters development (or lack thereof), their choices, and their story line should not stress me out more. In addition, it seemed like a very small amount of this story was actually told in the present day or with the romantic leads in the same room/house/place. It's hard to imagine a HEA, even with a wedding and baby at the end , when so little time was spent developing who they are together.
