Another strong entry in the Royals and Romance (series… duology? No idea if there are gonna be any more but I do hope so!), this time between Coal’s younger brother Kris and his study-room-arch-nemesis Lochlann, the Prince of St.Patrick’s Day!
I think I liked this one slightly less than book one; whilst I found the politics in book one fascinating, I found this to be a bit of a rehash of it… evil adult figure using holiday joy for less-than-ideal purposes, the younger generation trying to survive and make their holiday right again. It just didn’t feel new, it was the same plot over again.
However, the enemies-to-lovers vibes of Kris and Loch really saved it for me! Plus we got lots of cameos from Cole and Iris, and the introduction of Loch’s sisters, Siobhan and Finnoula 💕
