It is super important you know your trigger warnings when you read this story. The author is upfront regarding triggers and it is super important you listen, as the triggering content starts from page 1. In saying that, I have no triggers and read this book in 1 sitting.

Three Kings is a fast paced story following Lilith, a witch in hiding. The story line is full of twists/turns, the FMC switches from naivety to leader in a page, so be prepared for a quick flip. Liliths mates are adorably sunshine despite their attempts of being hard. The Insta-love and acceptance of Lillith was nice, it’s nice to read a story where the MMCs don’t hold the FMC against herself.

The plot and spice are pretty 50:50. I rate the spice at about 3 🌶️. The plot and spice and “dark themes” are repeated throughout the book, which makes it drag at some points. There are points in this story that I felt the plot was rushed and the sentence structure was lacking.  Overall, rate this 3.75.
