oh how I love mafia romance ❥
this book follows Bianca (18) and Vincent (30). Bianca is born into the mafia and is arranged to marry another man before unfortunate events happen - and she is set up to marry Vincent instead. after quite some push and pull the two develop feelings for each other and find their safe haven.
this book was well written, had a good pace and some quality smut. The things that kept it from a 5 star rating was the amount of times Vincent called her a ‘whore’. the way this was used it didn’t give me sexy vibes but the ick instead.
And I got the feeling I missed something in the relationship developing, it felt like it skipped a step between push/pull & declaring their love.
besides these things it certainly kept me entertained so I will be reading the second book soon!
