Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson

4.0

The Book of the Grotesque and Paper Pills are my favorite short stories in this book. It's interesting to see how the same person can be portrayed differently in each short story as if Anderson was attempting to prevent the characters from becoming grotesque. I would recommend this book to a friend; however, some of his stories aren't as engaging as the others. In a collection of short stories, it's difficult to like each one.
