4.25 stars for me! I thought the plot was intriguing, I enjoyed the action in the trials, and I like both Raihn and Oraya and the reluctant allies thing they had going on. I thought this was going to be five stars, but I found I still had questions at the end of the book, I wish there had been more development between Raihn and Oraya, and I wish there was more insight into the history of why the trials came to be and why the groups hate each other. That being said the ending sets it up great for the next book so I will be reading!
