There's just something about Agatha Christie--and Miss Marple--that breathes life into me when I read her books! I love this story. It was so fun to read even after seeing tv adaptations first. I loved seeing how things were changed and to search for the clues as they happen. I loved the friendship between Miss Marple and Mrs. McGillicuddy--and Marple with Lucy. Really, all the characters were likeable in their own ways. The little boys were so sweet, and I also really like Emma. I want to be more like Lucy! Though I was on vacation, I couldn't wait to try my hand at getting my own house into order to be more like her. I also had a blast poking around the book after finishing it, trying to retrace clues to which man or path Lucy would choose. My keyword were "pig" and "twinkle." So, my theory is one that I'm predisposed to want: Lucy and Craddock to end up together with Lucy solving mysteries like a Marple in her own right. So, kinda like a Tommy and Tuppence! And I believe the last, full line hints to it.
