The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

This is truly a beautiful written story that showcases women strength in adversity and in general, showing how strong yet vulnerable can women be and the braveness there is in all of that. Isabelle and Vianne so different and yet brave nonetheless each in their own way.

I know it is wold war two story, but still i think it could be just as important today. With the depiction of the soldiers from Germany as they were, normal looking boys. I think Hannah Arendt said it best when she said there was banality in evil.

Really heartbreaking beautiful story to be told.
