Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
5.0
I feel that this was a well written book and exposes the struggles and angst of being a teenager in a world full of technology.
The biggest struggle for any teen is in finding themselves and letting the world in. This book helps to shed a light on the struggles of all the characters, more so on Simon. Ultimately the struggle he goes through and the utter loneliness that he experiences is all to real for young high school aged kids.
Granted in there current world it is more accepted than it had been in the past. However, as seen through Simon's eyes there are still struggles and intolerance in high schools to this date. The added use of internet had made it harder for teens such as Simon to keep there secret.
