This book was really enjoyable but idk if it’s because I was hungover reading majority of it or what but it seemed oddly disjointed? I feel like the author left a few too many parts up to reader inference when I would have liked more on page resolution to the conflicts. There were also some anachronisms which threw me off.

Overall I loved the romance, thoroughly enjoyed the heist, and was super into figuring out the mystery throughout. It’s a great read if a little off kilter. I’m also not the biggest advocate for cis women writing mlm ships because it’s always a little weird and this definitely proves that. But. Great nonetheless.

The best part was the class division commentary and that fostering equity requires the upper class to give up majority of their wealth and power. Incredibly done.
