True enemies to lovers. This book was an absolute wild ride, and I was here for it! Dark, fast paced, great banter, tension, forced proximity, why choose, spicy and awesome characters. I was unable to put the book down. The story follows Ripley; she is a baddie that runs Harrowdean Manor, which is a shady psychiatric institute. The closure of another psychiatric institute leads her enemies to be placed at Harrowdean Manor. Lennox, Xander, and Raine and they want revenge. It's kill or be killed.

My favorite thing about this book is the characters. I love how diverse the characters are with all their individualized past traumas and mental health issues. I felt like the characters were unpredictable which captured my attention because I was always wanting to know what they were going to do. They had complex relationships and some wonderful character development. I fell in love with Raine and the chemistry between Ripley and him was absolutely beautiful. It does end on a cliffhanger, and I am excited for the next book to come out!
