This story was a disappointment compared to the last 3 I've read. The last 3 had the perfect mix of alphaholes, sweetness, and growth. By the end of this book, I did not want Valentina with Sal at all. Armani and Fausto were perfect as they helped her and seemed to care about her. Sal was completely and utterly awful to her. She was an innocent like his sister, Lily. And he treated her terribly. And even after becoming nice to her, he pulled the crap with Marco. I get it was to protect her and he had some severe trauma from what Carlo Rossi did to him, but man! There had to be a better way. And he didn't even grovel like he should have. Like the guys did in other books! Lucien wasn't even that bad!! I did absolutely adore Valentina! She deserved better. So much better!
