I really enjoyed it, but parts of it are pretty forgettable. I loved the fact that we got to see the effects of gun violence from the perspective of a man who was affected and then went back into school . At first, I really hated the hero but the character development and more about his backstory changed my mind. l loved that they both thought that the other wasn't into them at their old school when they were both obsessed with each other . Most of the minor characters were well developed and all of them helped the plot move forward. However, I wish I knew more about Babette, the heroine's best friend, and Babette's daughter. The book mainly focuses on them in relation to the heroine's problems and sometimes I wish we had a little more from the others. It isn't a dealbreaker.
I should probably add more later, but I am not feeling it right now.
