Golly! This story had me in tears. But it was so worth it.
So we have Esta, Hale, Oliver, and Ruck. Esta is our beautiful Omega disguising herself as a Beta. She is kind, caring, patient, and hard-working. I couldn't help but love her. Poor thing, though, has gone through it and can finally breathe after a long time. Hale is the eldest of the 3 and kind of the default pack lead in a sense. He is also extremely reserved and distant. Ruck is Hale's younger brother and quite the charmer, but he has this softness to him that Hale sort of lacks. Oliver, my sweet Oliver. He is my favourite. He is such an amazing Alpha but is so gentle and nurturing.
The plot was a roller coaster of emotions. One minute, I was so happy, and the next, I was sobbing so hard with what was happening. We see Esta blossom whilst at Hartlock Ranch and finally start finding herself again. Then, it all comes crashing down when secrets are revealed. I love the grovelling because your girl deserved it. They all had their own insecurities and issues, and it was beautiful seeing them truly come together to form something incredible. Don't get me wrong, there was a bit of drama going on (kind of a lot), but it was resolved by the end of the story unravelled the way it was supposed to.
