Kill Switch by Penelope Douglas

5.0

My favorite horseman has his own story. How long have I waited for this to arrive. I still remember 2016 when I turned the last page of Corrupt and squealed to myself, wishing and praying for Damon to come back. For the rest of them to forgive him and for the horsemen to get back together to wreak havoc across Thunder Bay. It happened. And it took me a year to finally read it because I was so fucking scared I'd be disappointed. Or I'd love it so much I'd mess up my routine for it. Which eventually had to happen so I got my courage up and went for it. Dove into it because it's Damon Fucking Torrance, goddammit.

Penelope never disappoints. I should've known better to doubt her. Hideaway was a great prologue to this gem of a story and I enjoyed every moment of it. I got to see the side of Damon that I knew was hidden somewhere. I'll miss him and Will when the series is over.

But Nightfall is coming, and there's more to look forward to. From that sneakpeak, I have a feeling Nightfall might defeat Kill Switch and become my favorite. But we'll see. So far, Kill Switch has my heart. Out of all the books I've read by Pen, I always knew, years before it even released, that this book would be it for me.

FUCKING DAMON.
