The Girl Who Fell From The Sky by Heidi W. Durrow

4.0

Loved this - am bummed that it took me so long to read! The story was a little slow building at first, but once I got into it - I was completely captivated!

I loved the usage of multiple POV's throughout this story. At first, I wasn't sure about the multiple POV's as at the beginning, it didn't seem to make sense and it made it harder to read. But then, the multiple POV's started to connect and it reminded me how we are all interconnected.

I also loved that the book took place over time and we really got to see Rachel's journey as a biracial girl, developing her own ideas and beliefs about the world, her family, the people around her and herself.

Beautiful, haunting and heartbreaking - this was a FANTASTIC read! :)
