Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We're in Without Going Crazy by Joanna Macy, Chris Johnstone

I was sceptical that I would enjoy this book, because I'm not usually into the spiritual side of environmentalism and that's the vibe I got from the blurb. However, I actually found it remarkably actionable, and it really resonated with me and helped me apply some of the practices to my own climate anxiety. I would recommend any climate activist or person who is worried about climate change to read it with an open mind.

In terms of the style, I found the diagrams and models useful. However, some of the personal anecdotes felt too long and not super relevant for me even though they were intended to illustrate the concepts discussed.
