A beautiful story full of hope, love, and family, The Royal Daughter is a captivating book that will pull on your heartstrings.

When Ella discovers a connection to her family through a mysterious photograph and sheet music, she heads to the Greek island of Skopelos to learn more about the past. Along the way, Ella finds herself torn between two paths – each tied to her heart in different ways.

From early on, I knew this book was going to be for me. I adored the writing, the character work – especially with Ella and Alexandria – and the overall pacing that made this an easy read. The book is scattered with moments that will frustrate you, make you smile, possibly shed a tear, and have you reaching for your passport. It’s a sweet, well-rounded story that has crossover potential if historical fiction is not your go-to genre.
