There are so many reasons why this book – this series, really - deserves 5 stars and I'd love to share them all but I'm still feeling the high of this story and I'm feeling bittersweet about their story ending at all, so I'm a bit discombobulated (is that the right word?). I just know that it checks a lot of boxes that left me satisfied by the last page.

The series gripped my attention from the first book and holy sh-t did it keep it the entire time. I totally missed out on precious hours of sleep just because I couldn't let go — needed to keep reading and reading. TOTALLY WORTH IT.

Right now, I can say that Brielle and Tanner together is one of my favorite couples. They are a perfect match for each other.

I love that they got together in the first book and books 2 and 3 showed us how they handled obstacles together. They are solid. They are that we-can-go-through-anything-together couple. "I lean, you lean." And that's what I love to see in my romance novels.

As the series went the stakes definitely went higher as well and by book 3 my heart has been beating hard with all these challenges and drama going on. I honestly went into this book scared of what happens next because of how book 2 ended. I'm glad the author decided not to break my heart.

Despite so many things going to shit, it did not feel all doom and gloom because the characters, the whole crew, are still their hilarious selves. They are out of control with their antics that got me laughing hard and out loud getting me side eyes from my housemates. By this point I am thoroughly invested in the lives of this solid group of friends who always had each other's backs. It's an amazing support system and speaking of support system, Tanner's mom is a badass.

So many freaking things happened and I admit it was getting a little overwhelming but everything was tied up nicely for me. I am deeply satisfied with how things got resolved and I love that it wasn't rushed at all.

This also feels like a 5-in-1 because of how the crew got coupled up. The other couples' relationships had ups and downs and it was nice to watch them from the security of Bri and Tanner's relationship.

Another thing I love in books is the extended epilogue - the time jumps to 1 year, 4 years, and then 8 years after, giving us a glimpse of them after the whole ordeal in senior year. I wish they were longer though.

Gosh, I don't know why I was late to the party reading this but it's definitely on my all time favorites and one I will be rereading in the future when I'm looking for a bully, funny, smutty, and dramatic story.
