I loved the Dreamland Billionaires series and picked this up as soon as this came out, so I don't know why I put off reading it.
However, it was such a sweet romance. Now sweet sounds boring but it is far from that. I loved the dual pov and all the tropes, second chance romance, he fell first, small town romance.
The book doesn't shy away from harder hitting subjects such as depression, gaslighting and infertility. While still remaining sweet and romantic. There is a little spice but only a 2 on the chilli pepper scale. I did cry, not at the romance but at Julian's relationship his mother in the workshop.
I also loved the epilogue. So many romance authors go the tried and true baby route, but this was just "chef's kiss".
I won't put off reading the next in the series when it is released later this year.
