20th Century Ghosts by Joe Hill

4.0

I am a sucker for short stories. I must say that when Joe Hill emerged I was skeptical. Stephen King's son is a writer? A horror writer? It seemed like two frighteners from the same family would be too much to ask for but I was wrong. The force is strong with this one, friends, and where the father made us afraid of the familiar, so Joe Hill turns his own sort of trick. I wasn't scared the whole time, but he caught my attention and as desensitized as I am, that is truly something.
