Who Said Mobsters Were Scary? by J.F. Miev, Aria Clark

2.0

Horrendous dude. Reads like someone who went to Japan maybe for three days, learned some random Japanese words, and used that to write a bad story off of.

At some point i acknowledged that i was finishing it bc i wanted to see how bad it would get. The body guard is a college kid who doesn’t speak any other language and has no experience except he used to box back home. The mafia heads son is a jpn/thai who thinks there’s a mole in the mob but dad doesn’t believe him. They run into each other and realize they’re gay and there’s no build up but also no chemistry and also they know one another all of two weeks before they confess love. They find the guy and take him down v unrealistically and then the body guard sees the mafia head playing w hello kitty and records him to show the son but before he can the head calls him in and shows pics of them together bein sexy and is like wtf you’re done and the guy is like konoware no, if you break us up I’ll show ppl you’re a hello kitty fan and the dad is like uh okay don’t do that i respect you and we need to get along bc it’ll make kwanchai (the son) happy. So now there’s no problems. Like dude what? This was awful. Oh also the author writes /fuuuuuuuuuuuck/ a lot when they’re turned on. And in dialogue (shit you not) Leo said ‘lookity look what we have here’ while they were shopping. Bruh.
