Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
5.0
i have SO many thoughts about this book, i cant decide how im going to rate it... i almost want to reread it before i do because i feel like i might have missed things.
personally, loved the ending.
loved the spooky vibes, loved the writing, du Maurier is a genius and i will be reading more of her books (next up: My Cousin Rachel)
the way i read Rebecca for the first time was via a thrifted hardcover edition and it came with beautiful illustrations. Part of me wants to reread it and annotate it through a paperback which
update: has been ordered! i feel like i need to take in the entire essence of this book... like i just need to sit with it for awhile.
spoiler alert: I am going to be rating this book AT LEAST 4 stars. It's heavy on my mind.
