The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett

5.0

I didn't want to read Tiffany Aching's books becuase that means I'll eventually read The Shepherd's Crown... and I don't want this to be over. But so I did start reading this coming of age story that will span four and a half books.

Tiffany is nine years old and too smart for her age. Although I was doubtful (no one likes a smartass kid!), she has, after all, First Sight and Second Thoughts, which means that her intelligence will put her in strange quandaries.

And of course we have the Wee Free Men! Crivens!, those little fierce warriors are as charming as only Pratchett could have written.
