Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

5.0

This book is everything I am looking for in one. For 400 pages I lived and breathed Elizabeth and Nathaniel. I was there. I felt the magic.
I could not put it down - Elizabeth is so, so delightful, a menace, a terror, I love her temperament, her heroics. I think she will speak to every bookworm-turned-weirdo.
Nathaniel is a bisexy legend even I would want. He is witty, he is not an edgy annoying angstbag. He has trauma and I love him for it.
All the side characters were charming as well.

This reads like Howl's Moving Castle, in the best way possible. Definitely one of my favorite reads. It is SO magical to me.

Look, I barely enjoy het romance. They really have to have an interesting and mostly convincing dynamic to intrigue me. But these two are so wonderful and deserve each other.
