Wild is the Witch by Rachel Griffin

3.0

Note: audiobook

I feel like this was more YA in some ways than The Nature of Witches was. Maybe it's because of the inner voice, or maybe it's my mood.
I like the magical realism and elemental magic aspects so much! That makes up for the lack of connection with the character. Iris felt a bit too childishly dramatic instead of 'damn girl' dramatic, but she redeemed herself in the second half!
Good read, would recommend, but not a must read for me. I liked The Nature of Witches a lot though!
