I thought this was a pretty good book. It wasn't overly original, but I didn't find it to be quite like anything else I have read. It wasn't too long and it was sweet and romantic, and not too sappy about it, either.

In this story, Willa, the heroine, has just gone through a break-up and had more or less fled to Dublin to get herself back together. She got to go to Ireland as a prize for winning a photography contest. The contest set her up to stay at Claymore Inn (which also has a popular bar attached). This is where she really becomes part of the Claymore family's life. She forges a connection with everyone there, despite her intentions to have care-free fun for the month she is there. The deepest connection, is of course with a boy: Shane. His father passed away so he is the man of the house trying to take care of his sister and mother. However, he's got demons and dreams that make it hard to stick around. Willa really helps shake up the whole household and cause them (and herself) to question how they really want their lives to go on. Namely, Shane has to decide if he can get over his familial issues and do what is right for him and his family while dealing with his feelings for Willa, while Willa has to learn to trust herself and be open to being loved by someone other than her sister.

The story is more fun than compelling. It held my interest well enough throughout. It wasn't the deepest of stories, even though the author definitely had the option to go deeper into things. Some of Willa's issues with starting another relationship pretty much just disappeared after she freaked out and were never really discussed again, which isn't very realistic, but it fit into the fun plot.
