I have a lot of conflicting feelings about this book. First, I’ll say, I finished it in one day. So obviously something about it kept my attention. I was initially drawn to this book because I love a good ‘snowed in together’ trope and I’ve enjoyed this author’s other books. There were several times when I thought ‘21 year olds do not act like this’ but I can suspend belief. I really didn’t like their friendship dynamic at the beginning- why was he calling her ‘baby’? Why was he having her sit on his lap? I thought he was also too young to have a ‘women only want me for my body’ chip on his shoulder. What really ruined it for me was the ending scene…

When a guy says something along the lines of ‘I am an asshole and you’re too good for me,’ you should believe him and run away.
