I heard such good reviews of this book and decided to give it a shot since I wanted to step out of my fantasy/romance comfort zone. when I got the book, there was a raving review from Stephen King, so of course I was excited. not only was this book not nearly as scary as I expected, it was pretty slow-moving. of course there were parts that were creepy and gross, but they were few and far in between. I mostly finished because I wanted to see who made it and how it ended.. I was very indifferent about the book as a whole. I will try another book of Nick Cutters, maybe this one just wasn’t the right storyline for me
