This has been on my TBR for years! What drew me in was the talks of this having queer undertones which were present, but it was very much just undertones. This is not the gay vampire book I needed, so I am still on the hunt. This did, however, start a desire in me to dive a little deeper into the dark/gothic genre. I am definitely going to keep reading the rest of the books in the universe! Albeit very very slowly and with long breaks in between since there’s so many.

I’m also diving head first into all the media based on the book. First is the movie! Who’s coming over for the premier?!
