The Complete Poems of Emily Dickinson by Thomas H. Johnson, Emily Dickinson

No colour in the rainbow
Perceives when you are gone
Obsessed with the way she describes nature, lyrical and wondrous. Her poems on death are fascinating: it is just another part of nature, in the end. Even as she mythologises the process she never loses sight of the mundanity, and the beauty within that.
