grinningcat 's review for:
Digger
by Brooke Summers
MMC/FMC- Digger and Octavia
POV- 1st person dual
Genre- MC Romance
Heat- This review is brought to you by the letter C, because when they do the things, they use all of the C words.
Series? Y
Cliffhanger? N
Cheating? N
HEA/HFN? Y
Triggers- The Biker’s Trifecta (salty language, graphic violence, explicit erotic content). Also, Domestic Violence (not perpetrated by the Hero), PTSD, and mention of s. assault of secondary characters (which includes a pregnancy loss).
Tropes- One-Night Stand, Secret Baby, Single Dad, Surprise Pregnancy, Mine, Hot for Teacher, Adorable Moppet.
What I liked- the characters were great. I love that the heroine is a teacher who loves her work (and there’s more to her than that). And the theme of family in this book.
What I didn’t- it was a little confusing that Kale and Malice are the same person. And the heroine is badly injured like five times in the book, which is a bit much.
Verdict- Recommended. I enjoyed reading this book.
